Christina Haack was birthed in Anaheim California on the 9th of July in 1984. Her first job after leaving school was working in the industry of real estate. Tarek was the man she would marry in the future. They ran a prosperous business prior to the 2008 stock market crash that saw a number of real estate investors and house flippers go bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa nearly destroyed in the 2008 financial crisis. They had to move from an expensive home where they were paying $6,000 per month, to a modest apartment which cost only $700. The business grew slowly and the overall economy recovered. HGTV: Rise to Fame Tarek had a trusted friend to make an audition tape for HGTV in 2011, which included him and Christina flipping a whole home. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. They were in love with Tarek along with Christina. The couple in 2012 agreed to a formal contract with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" w premiered in April 2013. Over the course of seven seasons, this show was broadcast between 2013-2017. Christina and Tarek purchased homes in Orange County that were usually homes with a middle-income. They then spent several weeks renovating the house in order to make it possible for them to sell into profit. Tarek's focus is on demolition and renovating, while Christina prefers design.
